Mom's 65th B'day

This post is long overdue...

Mom celebrated her 65th birthday last month.

It was a simple affair, we opted to just have a simple dinner nearby and some cake. Mom said that she didn't mind as her birthday fell on a working weekday.

The twins came along since they're both old enough to sit on their own. However, they're still a handful as they're pretty active. They both can't sit for very long and soon get bored with their surroundings.

We kept both twins preoccupied with a cookie which they happily munched on... and made a big mess for the folks at Tony Roma's to clean up. Oops!

However, after a while... They both got bored and wanted to go around to "walk" around their surroundings. They both have a pretty short interest span.

As for food, I didn't take that many photos as we were busy with the girls. So, I only managed to capture one decent photo of my burger with baked potato. You can substitute your fries with a baked potato. ;-)

Anyway, despite everything... what was most important was that we managed to spend some time with Mom on her special day....

Our family celebrate birthdays by going for dinners. Buying someone dinner is a great birthday gift :)

  5. Thanks all!!

I'd guess as our parents grow older, each birthday gets more special...

A simple dinner or a cake will suffice as they cherish the time spent during dinner... A precious gift indeed.
