Last month, my company had a team-building event up at Bukit Tinggi. I had already explored the place inside and out in my last trip and so, wasn't very keen on taking more photos of the buildings again.
However, armed with my 17-70mm, I was interested to see what kind of landscape shots I could capture.
The sad thing was that the weather was not very cooperative but that meant some relief for us during the outdoor portion of the team-building.
I caught up with my old "friend", one of the swans near the lake just outside of Colmar Tropicale.
I managed to get very close to the swan and I'd guess it was wondering if my camera dispensed any food!
I didn't take many photos of Bukit Tinggi. I only managed to take a landscape of Colmar Tropicale from the top of the tower which I've turned into a miniature...
I doubt I'll go up to Bukit Tinggi again so soon within these next couple of years. ;-)

Love the tilt shift effect. Very nice. :)
ReplyDeleteYou shot the last one with a tilt and shift lens? A mini Colmar.
ReplyDeleteI like the first photo. Clever use of the frame :)
I don't like Colmar. I think the place is over-rated and accommodation is way overpriced.
Hi Che-Cheh, Mei Teng...
ReplyDeleteChe-Cheh - Thanks! I haven't done this effect in a while.
Mei Teng - Didn't have a tilt-and-shift lens but used photoshop technique to simulate the tilt-n-shift effect. ;-)
wow....new lens....i wish to get a wide angle lens...
ReplyDeleteHi via,
ReplyDeleteThanks! It's not exactly wide-angle but it's a standard zoom lens. I'm also aiming for wide-angle but not so soon. ;-)
